Day 26 - London to Exmouth

We caught the Under-ground to Marble Arch where we collected the car and set the Garmin for Exmouth. We successfully navigated our way out of London past the road diversions for the London Marathon.
Stopped at Stonehenge on the way and took some photos. Then enjoyed lunch at an American style cafe. Arrived in Exmouth about 3.30pm and drove along the Esplanade where it was blowing a gale but there were kite-surfers enjoying the freezing conditions. Booked into our B&B and then went and enjoyed a Pub meal with the Troake family at The Swan at Lympstone. Richard worked with Greg Troake about 21 years ago so there was a lot to talk about. They kindly showed us photos of the last time we saw them ... 21 years ago. A great meal enjoyed with Devonian apple cider. The kids got along with their grand-children and did the traditional 'how do you say ....'. They thought we sounded very Australian.
Planning to tour Cornwall tomorrow.
